1. Scope This notice explains cookies, browser storage and similar technologies used on fricconsultancy.com. It should be read with the FRIC Privacy Notice. Under Czech electronic-communications rules, non-technical storage or access is activated only after prior consent. Essential technology remains available because it is necessary to provide a requested service or remember the visitor’s privacy choice. 2. Technologies currently used Essential • fric-cookie-preferences — browser local storage controlled by FRIC. Records whether analytics and external services are allowed and the date of the choice. It expires after six months or earlier if site data is cleared. • Essential hosting, security and authentication technology — used to deliver requested pages, protect forms, authenticate authorised users and maintain secure sessions. Duration is limited to the session or the provider’s necessary security period. Functional language choice • fric-language — browser local storage controlled by FRIC. Remembers the selected display language until the visitor changes it, clears site data or the related external-services consent expires. • googtrans — a translation preference cookie with a maximum duration of 12 months. It is created only when a visitor selects a translated language after allowing external services. Google Translate may receive technical request data under Google’s own terms. Optional aggregate analytics • FRIC aggregate analytics — if allowed, the website increments a daily total for the visited FRIC section and selected form-completion events. FRIC stores no analytics cookie, IP address, device fingerprint, form content or personal identifier in this analytics table. This category remains off until selected. External services • Google Translate — its script is not loaded until external services are allowed. Activating translation may disclose IP address, browser/device information, requested page and language choice to Google. Ordinary links to maps, publishers and social networks do not load their content on FRIC; data is sent to those providers only if the visitor follows the link. FRIC currently uses no behavioural-advertising, cross-site tracking or marketing cookies. No video, map or social-media embed may be added without updating this list and, where required, obtaining consent before it loads. 3. Legal basis and choices Essential technology is used because it is necessary for the visitor-requested service and for FRIC’s legitimate interests in security and accountability. Optional analytics and Google Translate rely on consent. The first-layer banner offers “Reject optional”, “Customise” and “Accept optional”. Rejecting optional categories does not block the main website, forms or legal pages. Select “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change or withdraw consent as easily as it was given. Browser controls can also delete local storage and cookies, but doing so may reset language and consent choices. The website asks again after six months, when no valid preference exists, or when a materially new provider or purpose requires a fresh choice. 4. Provider information and updates FRIC controls its preference storage and aggregate analytics. Google Ireland Limited provides Google Translate for EEA users under Google’s privacy terms. Hosting and authentication providers may use strictly necessary security technology under their respective processor terms. Questions can be sent to privacy@fricconsultancy.com.
