1. Operator and scope These Terms govern use of fricconsultancy.com, its public content, forms and authorised areas operated by Fraud Research and Intelligence Consultancy (FRIC) from Ostrava, Czech Republic. Company registration is pending; the current operator details and status appear on this page and in the footer. These Terms do not replace a signed proposal, order form, data-processing agreement, research consent form or client-portal terms. If those documents conflict with these Terms for a commissioned service, the signed document prevails. By actively using a form or account, you agree to the parts of these Terms relevant to that feature. If you use FRIC on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. The website is intended for users aged 18 or over. 2. Information and professional relationship Public website and publication content is general research, education and risk-awareness information. It is not legal, financial, investment, medical, therapeutic, safeguarding, law-enforcement or emergency advice. Browsing or submitting an enquiry does not by itself create a professional-client, fiduciary, confidential or advisory relationship. FRIC accepts an engagement only through a separate written confirmation or contract. 3. Accounts and authorised access Some administration or client areas require authentication and an authorised role. Access is personal, limited, non-transferable and subject to the relevant organisation’s approved permissions. You must use accurate account information, protect your sign-in method, promptly report suspected compromise and not allow another person to use your access. FRIC may provision, suspend or end access according to the applicable contract, security needs or misuse. Fees, term, renewal, support, service levels, data roles and cancellation are governed by the relevant order or contract; the public website does not currently complete an automatic purchase or payment. 4. Permitted use Subject to these Terms and any applicable contract, FRIC grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the website and authorised areas for their documented purpose. You may link to public pages and make lawful quotations with proper attribution. You must not attempt unauthorised access, bypass permissions, probe security, introduce malicious code or disrupt availability; scrape at a harmful scale; impersonate another person; submit material you have no right to provide; upload passwords, credentials, intimate material, full identity documents, privileged data or unnecessary third-party personal data; or use FRIC services for unlawful surveillance, harassment, discrimination, retaliation or public accusation. 5. User submissions and feedback You retain rights in material you submit. You grant FRIC and its contracted processors only the limited permission needed to receive, secure and respond to the submission, provide the requested service, prevent misuse and comply with law. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and lawful basis. Feedback may be used to improve FRIC’s service unless it includes confidential or personal information; FRIC will not publish an identifiable testimonial without permission. 6. Intellectual property and publications Unless stated otherwise, FRIC owns or licenses the website design, branding, original text and original materials. Academic publication rights may belong to authors and publishers, and linked publications remain subject to their own licences. No FRIC mark, confidential method or proprietary material may be copied, altered, sold, misrepresented or commercially reused without permission, except where law expressly permits. 7. Third-party services Links to publishers, maps, social networks, authentication services and other websites are provided for convenience. Third parties control their own content, availability, privacy and terms. A link does not imply endorsement. Optional translation is subject to the disclosures in FRIC’s Privacy and Cookie Notices. 8. Availability, disclaimers and liability FRIC may maintain, update, suspend or discontinue a feature or piece of content. Unless a signed service-level agreement says otherwise, continuous, error-free or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. You must not rely on the website as the only location for essential evidence or records. FRIC uses reasonable care to provide evidence-led information but does not warrant that public content is complete, current, accurate for every context or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FRIC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by prohibited use, decisions based solely on general information, third-party services, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Any specific liability cap for a paid professional service will be stated in its signed contract. 9. Privacy, suspension and evidence Personal data is handled under FRIC’s Privacy and Cookie Notices and any service-specific notice or data-processing agreement. FRIC may preserve relevant records and restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect users or systems, comply with law, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. 10. Governing law, changes and contact These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections applicable in their country of habitual residence. For business and professional users, the competent Czech courts have jurisdiction unless a signed contract provides otherwise. The parties should first try in good faith to resolve a concern through info@fricconsultancy.com. FRIC may revise these Terms when its services, legal status or applicable law changes.
