Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 July 2026

1. Acceptance and purpose By using this website, you agree to these Terms. The site presents FRIC’s research, intelligence, training, advisory services, publications and Connection Safety AI. Separate written terms govern commissioned work, pilots and other professional engagements. 2. Information—not professional advice Website and chatbot content is general research and educational information. It is not legal, financial, medical, therapeutic, safeguarding, law-enforcement or emergency advice and does not create a professional-client, fiduciary or confidential relationship. 3. Permitted use You may access and link to public pages for lawful reference. You must not interfere with security or availability; attempt unauthorised access; upload malicious code; impersonate others; submit unlawful material; scrape at a harmful scale; use outputs to harass, discriminate or accuse; or treat risk guidance as proof of criminality. 4. Intellectual property Unless stated otherwise, FRIC owns or licenses the website design, text, research summaries, marks, tools and original materials. Publication rights may belong to authors or publishers. Materials may not be copied, altered, sold, misrepresented or used to train another commercial system without permission. Lawful quotation requires proper attribution. 5. User submissions You remain responsible for submitted information and confirm that you have the right and lawful basis to provide it. Do not send passwords, banking credentials, intimate images, full identity documents, privileged material or unnecessary third-party data. FRIC receives only the limited rights needed to process a submission for its requested purpose. 6. External services and availability Third-party links, maps, publisher pages and social platforms are outside FRIC’s control. FRIC may modify, suspend or withdraw features and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. 7. Disclaimers and liability FRIC aims to provide accurate, evidence-led information but does not warrant that it is complete, current or suitable for every situation. To the extent permitted by law, FRIC is not liable for decisions based solely on general website or automated guidance, third-party services, or events outside its reasonable control. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected. 8. Privacy, access and governing law Personal data is handled under the Privacy and Cookie Policies. FRIC may restrict misuse that threatens users, systems, rights or the law. The governing-law and jurisdiction clause must be confirmed against FRIC’s final registered legal entity; mandatory consumer rights remain preserved. 9. Changes and contact FRIC may revise these terms as services or law change. Questions can be submitted through the Contact page.
These policies must be checked against FRIC’s final registered entity, suppliers, contractual arrangements and processing activities before public commercial launch.
